On A Budget. Here's A Great Solution.

I have received SO MANY emails from brides this week about wanting to know if I offer any kind of package that would make my photography a little more affordable....they love the photos but can't afford the regular pricing.

So....after much thought and consideration I have decided to bring back one of my old options from back in the day. This was one of my most popular wedding photography packages when I first started out over six years ago and I have buried it for years. However, due to the overwhelming number of brides who need less expensive options but still want a professional photographer I am offering this package once again. Here are the details:

Shoot & CD Packages Include:

*8, 10 or 12 hours of photography {price is reflective of the length of coverage}
*75-100 images per hour of coverage
*Images straight out of the camera, NOT POST PROCESSED
*All images on a CD in high resolution, all color images
*Permission to use images for personal use and share them with the family

Why is this a great option for those on a budget? You get TONS of great images on a CD with permission to use them, print them and share them. Your wedding day is documented in a professional way. You pay a fraction of the cost. Email me today for a price list and to see if your wedding date is available!

I still offer my full packages to any bride interested but this is a great option for the bride on a budget who still wants a photographer with experience, great equipment and professionalism.

PLEASE EMAIL ME FOR PRICING ON REGULAR WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY PACKAGES & THE "SHOOT AND CD" PACKAGES.

Danielle & Robert. The Wedding.

It was almost a year ago that I met Danielle and Robert in Iowa City, Iowa where we met on a cold wintery day on my favorite bike path to take their engagement photos. When I announced that our family was relocating to Denver I received an e-mail from Danielle asking if I would photograph their wedding....in Denver. How crazy that they were getting married in the very city where we were moving to!

The week before Danielle and Roberts wedding we realized that it was not going to be a sunny, blue skied Denver wedding we had been planning on but rather a cold, overcast wedding. Much like most of my Iowa weddings from years past. It seems the weather followed us here! The beautiful black and white photographs were the stand outs from the wedding - but we all know that I'm partial to classic black and white photography. It turned out perfect though because the wedding was at the classic Oxford hotel in downtown Denver and had a very antique feel.

Danielle portrays the expression "beautiful on the inside and out". It's rare to find someone who is both beautiful in appearance and in their personality. As she interacted with her friends and family her gentle nature put everyone at ease, she is caring and considerate of everyone and even though it was her special day she went out of her way to make sure it was perfect for everyone else.

Robert is a fun guy. He has a kind heart and is always happy. His calm nature puts everyone at ease around him and his spurts of craziness keep everyone laughing. There is no denying that Robert's dance moves are legendary and his sense of humor keeps the mood light.

The wedding, though chilly outside, was wonderful. The hotel was filled to the brim with family and friends who were excited about the marriage. The mothers both beamed with happiness and the fathers faces were filled with pride. The ceremony was adorable, the food amazing and the couple awesome. What a great wedding!!!

Sam. Senior Portraits.

Samantha and I met up at City Park in Denver late Saturday afternoon to take her senior portraits. I couldn't contain my smile when I saw her walking up to me: she was beautiful. For the first few minutes she was visibly nervous {like EVERYONE is when I first start the session} but after about five minutes she relaxed and we had a great time. I just kept thinking throughout the shoot that I was never that put together as a teenager - she is such a mature, sweet and pretty girl.

One of my favorite parts of photographing seniors is having the moms or dads along. I love seeing the parents look on from the distance, admiring their teenager and trying to deal with the shock that their baby is all grown up. Sam's mom and step-mom were both there watching from a park bench and it was obvious that they both think Samantha is pretty awesome.

Our main focus for the shoot: get a killer shot that Sam could look at and remember how drop dead gorgeous she was in high school. I think we nailed it. Here are few of my personal favorites from Sam's senior portrait photo shoot:
